I have been told by over a hundred people that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. Some of that was the DJ, caterer, etc, but the venue took the cake. The rising door that allowed for the most dramatic of entrance for a bride and groom will live on in everyone’s memory. This is something that no other place offers. Are there ritzier places? Eh, sure. But this place will make it so that your wedding is the one people will set the bar with. I will never stop recommending this place.

They have a short list of recommended vendors. Were those vendors phenomenal? Yes, even the ones we didn’t go with.
Great food in the Sanford area means your rehearsal dinner will be killer. I suggest Hollerbach’s German Restaurant.

“Danville is awesome. The Marine Corps League had a function there. 85 people attended a sit down dinner that was catered. I recommend Danville to anyone planning any kind of function.”
“WOW! what more can I say! Danville is unique and exquisite. While it could use some updating and a bit of cleaning I couldnt imagine having our wedding anywhere else. Everyone was impressed by the hangar door opening, the charm of the gazebo, the rustic look of the patio and the fantastic pub! Sally was wonderful and responsive for 2 years of us planning our wedding, we had the pleasure of meeting Vanessa the venue concierge who was incredible, she was there for our rehearsaland for our wedding day!! She helped make sure my dress was perfect walking out the door, she answered questions, she helped move things around, and although she doesn’t know it her calm aura really helped me to relax and not feel as anxious about the day. I would love to work with her again in the future and will be recommending Danville to anyone looking for a venue or an air bnb to stay at.”

Beautiful venue; we were there for a wedding but there are so many other activities available; they have their own airstrip for goodness sake. “Woodstock” area looks legit for parties, camping, and events. VW busses equipped with beds; you just gotta check it out.
“Where do I begin?! This place is amazingly unique and the people who own and run it are the most friendly, helpful and laidback people. My husband and I held our wedding at Danville and paid to have the place for the weekend. We had to post pone multiple times because of covid and they were super easy to coordinate with to change the date like 3 times. Sally was an amazing point of contact that answered all my questions, met up with us at the venue to answer questions and show us around multiple times and was just a great person to chat with and we felt super comfortable with her.
Tanya was our concierge for the weekend and I’m eternally grateful for all her help and how much she went above and beyond her job description to make sure our wedding went as smooth as possible. Dan helped the day before and on our wedding day and he was just as nice and helpful. We felt right at home and super relaxed the whole weekend and we are so happy with how everything worked out.
